In recent years, China’s influence toward the international has been greatly increasing. A lot of Western tourists come to China to learn about Chinese culture by visiting the places of interests and natural sceneries. The number of foreign tourists is sustainably increasing, and it promotes the development of tourism in China to a certain extent. Meanwhile, it also drives us to perfect the scenic-spot introductions. The proper translation of scenic spots helps us establish a good image, attracts tourists and promotes cultural exchanges between China and the west. Based on the Skopos Theory, this research analyzes the translation of Chongzuo scenic-spot introductions and explores feasible strategies in the light of the translation problems, in order to perfect the scenic-spot introductions and improve the images of different scenic spots in China, as well as to maximize the guiding role of scenic-spot introductions and attract more foreign tourists. The purpose of the study is to introduce foreign tourists the culture of local attractions and boost the sufficient tourism resources, so as to expedite the development of the local tourism industry, and increase the popularity of Chongzuo.
