Abstract

Rhizobium sp. was isolated from Vigna mungo RBU 38 grown in a semi-arid region of Rajasthan, India. The isolated Rhizobium sp. produced the phytohormone, IAA, ammonia and has the ability for phosphate solubilization. It can be used as biofertilizer for future application in agriculture for increased crop yield.
