Abstract

In present research findings have to describe the studies on diversity of free living fresh water protozoan from Erode region, Tamil nadu. The physicochemical parameter such as pH, salinity, temperature, calcium, nitrites, phosphate, dissolved oxygen were analyzed. The analysed value of pH is neutral temperature is 29°C, Salinity 0.2700%, Calcium is 480 per mg/per liter, Nitrites 0.0408 mg per/liter, Phosphate -4.6956 mg/liter. Results show that based on the structural modification 27 species were identified. According to the taxonomical classification, two divisions were classified. The kinetofragminophorea include 8 species comes phylum ciliophora. The Subphylum included 4 species come under the phylum Saromsttigophora. The class Oligohymenophorea included 2 species comes under the phylum Ciliophora
