Effect on food utilisation of Eupterote molifera la TVae fed with cythion treated Ricinus communis leaves were studied. The sublethal concentrations used were 5, 25 and 50 mg/1. There was no considerable change in the first instar larvae; changes in food consumption, assimilation, conversion, assimilation efficiency, growth officiercy and gross production efficiency of subsequent instars due to pesticide concentration were noted,
